This plant primarily serves Central and Southern Missouri, Northern Arkansas, and Southeast Kansas. Missouri has two Hiland Dairy processing plants, one in Kansas City and the general offices in Springfield. This page is dedicated to Hiland Dairy in Springfield, Missouri.
The dairy business was a lot different when Hiland Dairy began in Springfield, Missouri in 1938. Then, we had a small herd of cows and a couple of trucks delivering farm-fresh milk to local grocers. Thanks to our customers, Hiland is well-known throughout the Midwest for our fresh, delicious dairy products. But the heart of our business remains right here in the Springfield area.
Today, the plant produces approximately 750,000 gallons of milk each month. The Springfield plant receives raw milk from dairy farmers within a 100-mile radius of the plant. Delicious ice cream and fresh brewed Red Diamond tea are made here along with our fresh milk.

Some of our favorites are the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, Missouri State University, Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, and the Springfield Symphony. All summer, you will also see us at Springfield Cardinal games handing out Hiland Dairy products.

We have a complete recycling program for metal, cardboard, plastic, batteries, and oil to reduce our carbon footprint. All recycling is tracked and recorded to be as eco-friendly as possible.

Hiland Dairy is proud to support the local chapter of Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri with our 26.2 campaign. For any woman running the full or half marathon that joins Team Milk, Hiland Dairy will donate a dollar to Girls On The Run of Southwest Missouri for every mile they run on race day! Joining Team Milk helps Hiland support women athletes and the rising generation of girls to inspire them to be joyful, healthy, and confident.
