It’s easy for summer temps to reach triple digits where I live, so I have a go-to dessert to help my kiddos cool down. This brightly colored sweet treat makes this the perfect dessert for any summertime celebration. With a bite of creamy Hiland Dairy Ice Cream mixed with the light foamy texture of strawberry gelatin, it’s definitely a palate pleaser. Dessert is served!

Instructions

  • Pour the gelatin powder in boiling water. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  • Put ice cream into a large bowl.
  • Pour the gelatin liquid over the ice cream and blend well.
  • Pour into glasses and refrigerate until set, about one hour.
  • Sprinkle with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
