DIY Bird Feeder
What You’ll Need:
Instructions:
Rinse carton with warm, soapy water. Allow to dry completely.
Spray-paint the outside of the carton. Allow to dry completely.
Using a craft knife, carefully cut out the stomach and wings of the owl.
Using a hot glue gun, glue each smaller bottle lid inside a larger lid. Allow glue to dry completely.
Glue the googly eyes in the small bottle lids to make the owl eyes. Allow glue to dry completely.
Glue the eyes to the front of the owl, leaving enough space for a beak.
Using scissors, cut a triangle from the sheet of white paper and glue it under the eyes to create the owl beak.
Using a craft knife, slice a small slit under the stomach, long enough to slide in the Popsicle stick.
Glue the stick in place.
Using a one-hole punch, punch a hole at the top of the carton and thread the string to hang the bird feeder from your favorite tree.
Add birdseed to the feeder and let the birdwatching begin.
Diva’s Tip
You can paint each side of the carton a different color to brighten up the bird feeder!
