DIY Bird Feeder Step 1

  • Using a hot glue gun, glue each smaller bottle lid inside a larger lid. Allow glue to dry completely.
  • Glue the googly eyes in the small bottle lids to make the owl eyes. Allow glue to dry completely.

DIY Bird Feeder Step 2

  • Glue the eyes to the front of the owl, leaving enough space for a beak.

DIY Bird Feeder Step 3

  • Using scissors, cut a triangle from the sheet of white paper and glue it under the eyes to create the owl beak.

DIY Bird Feeder Step 4

  • Using a craft knife, slice a small slit under the stomach, long enough to slide in the Popsicle stick.
  • Glue the stick in place.

DIY Bird Feeder Step 5

  • Using a one-hole punch, punch a hole at the top of the carton and thread the string to hang the bird feeder from your favorite tree.

DIY Bird Feeder Step 6

  • Add birdseed to the feeder and let the birdwatching begin.

Diva’s Tip

You can paint each side of the carton a different color to brighten up the bird feeder!
