Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth: Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse is a perfect, simple sweet treat to satisfy your cravings.
Packed with Protein: Cottage Cheese is packed with protein so using it for a sweet treat is an extra idea to get those grams in while having chocolate.
Only a Few Ingredients: You only need a few simple ingredients (you probably already have them in your kitchen) and a blender to transform plain cottage cheese into a delicious sweet treat.
Super Versatile: Cottage cheese is unique because of its mild flavor, high protein content and its ability to be blended into a super creamy texture. It acts as a healthy, creamy base for all kinds of recipes.
Add all the ingredients: Everything goes into the blender or food processor. Add the Hiland Cottage Cheese, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and salt.
Blend: Blend it all together until smooth and creamy. Look for any white bits of cottage cheese and blend until you don’t see any remaining. Scrape the sides as needed. The mixture will be thick, creamy and smooth.
Spoon: Spoon and pour the mixture into a bowl. Scrape the sides to get all the mixture.
Refrigerate: Place the bowl of Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse into the fridge to set up completely. At least 30 minutes.
Serve and Eat: Spoon the Chocolate Mousse up and enjoy the creamy goodness packed with protein! (or just keep a spoon in the bowl and eat as weened, that’s how I roll)
