Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Hiland Milk (whole, almond, soy or your favorite!)
  • ½ cup Hiland Strawberry Milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberry slices to garnish

Directions

  • In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove clumps. Add the hot water and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
  • While the mixture is still warm, stir in the honey (or maple syrup) until dissolved. Then, mix in the regular milk. Set aside.
  • Optional: Froth the strawberry milk using an electric or handheld milk frother.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the matcha mixture, then slowly pour in the strawberry milk for a layered effect.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and enjoy!
