Ingredients
Sauces
- Hot fudge
- Caramel sauce
Fruit
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh blueberries
- Sliced bananas
Toppings
- M&Ms
- Mini marshmallows
- Sprinkles (red, white, and blue if desired)
- Chopped peanuts or walnuts
- Mini chocolate chips
- Crushed Oreos or graham crackers
- Strawberry sauce
- Reese’s Pieces
- Waffle cone pieces or mini waffle bowls
- Sea salt
- Gummy bears or gummy worms
Finishing Touches
- Whipped cream
- Maraschino cherries
Directions
- Place the ice cream in a serving container or keep it frozen until ready to serve.
- Transfer sauces to small serving bowls. Warm the hot fudge and caramel sauce slightly if desired.
- Wash and prepare the fruit. Slice the bananas and hull the strawberries if needed.
- Place each topping in separate small bowls or ramekins.
- Arrange the bowls of toppings, sauces, and fruit on a large board, tray, or countertop around the ice cream.
- Set out whipped cream and maraschino cherries.
- Allow guests to build their own sundaes by adding ice cream and desired toppings.
