Easy Peach and Berry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 stick Hiland Dairy Butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup Hiland Dairy Milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups frozen fruit (peaches and berries)
- 1/2 cup sugar, divided (1/4 cup of sugar to toss with fruit & 1/4 cup of sugar on top of the cobbler)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the butter in an 8 inch cast iron skillet (a larger skillet does not work as well).
- Toss together 1/4 cup of sugar with the fruit.
- Add the fruit to the bottom of the cast iron skillet.
- Mix together the milk, flour, vanilla and 1 cup of sugar.
- Pour over melted butter and fruit.
- Do not stir.
- Sprinkle the last 1/4 cup of sugar on top of everything.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes, or until slightly brown.
