Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 5 tbsp Hiland Chocolate Milk (or regular milk if preferred)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • Mix Dry Ingredients. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Add the vegetable oil (or melted butter), chocolate milk, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until smooth and no lumps remain.
  • Spoon into a microwave safe mug.
  • Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 1-2 minutes. The exact time may vary depending on your microwave’s wattage. The brownie is done when the top looks set but still slightly moist — it will continue to cook a little after removing it from the microwave.
  • Let cool for a minute or so, then enjoy directly from the mug.
