Cheesy Beef Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) pkg of egg noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (8 ounce) cans of tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) pkg Hiland Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Hiland Cottage Cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Liberally spray a 9×13 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
- While egg noodles cook, heat oil a skillet over medium high heat.
- Add ground beef and onion, until fully cooked, breaking up ground beef with spoon.
- Stir in garlic, cook an additional minute. Stir in tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
- Drain egg noodles, stir into ground beef mixture. Set aside.
- In a bowl stir together cream cheese, cottage cheese and parmesan cheese.
- Place half the ground beef-egg noodles in pan. Top with cheese mixture, then top with remining beef-egg noodles.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes, serve warm with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
