Indulgent 3 – Hiland Dairy

A Classic Sandwich and Chips

Issue

It’s lunch time with Hiland Dairy! Lunch sometimes doesn’t get the spotlight when it comes to indulgent recipes, but indulgent doesn’t have to be heavy and elaborate. Indulgent can be simple additions to classic recipes. My favorite way to make a lunch meal a bit more indulgent is with sauces! Spreads, drizzles, dressings, dipping sauces, I love them all.

Hiland Dairy has the best sour cream, cream cheese, and heavy cream to use as the base for so many incredible sauces.

I love making a creamy garlic dressing with Hiland Dairy Sour Cream and Milk, vinegar, lemon, and garlic. It’s so good! I also can’t pass up a fantastic drizzle over a burrito bowl made with Hiland Dairy Sour Cream and Milk with taco seasoning. It makes a regular lunch dish just a bit more special.

The recipe today is a classic sandwich, the BLT (plus creamy avocado), but I’ve added a sandwich spread that I have been loving. It’s simple but elevates a sandwich to the next level. This sandwich spread is made from only three basic ingredients – mayo, Hiland Dairy Sour Cream, and mustard. It adds creaminess and a slight tangy flavor to an already delicious classic sandwich.

But what’s a sandwich without a crunchy side? Chips and a famous Hiland Dairy Dip to eat with your sandwich is a must. The prepared dip using incredible ingredients and flavors is a quick and easy way to add a little bit of indulgence to your lunch break.

Check out the recipe below for this BLT, creamy sauce, and Hiland Dairy Dip.

BLT and Avocado Sandwich with Tangy Sour Cream Sauce

Sour Cream Sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Hiland Dairy Sour Cream

  • Serve sandwiches with chips and your favorite Hiland Dairy Dip. I am loving the Toasted Onion Dip right now!
