When America’s dairy farmers founded the National Dairy Council in 1915, milk came in glass bottles and was delivered by horse-drawn carts. Today milk comes in recyclable plastic jugs and is transported in state-of-the-art refrigerated trucks, ensuring its freshness and long shelf life.
But some things haven’t changed. Dairy products are still a natural and wholesome source of protein and calcium—among many other important nutrients. And the National Dairy Council still educates consumers on the benefits of dairy products by focusing on science, nutrition and wellness.
So join us in celebrating a century of dairy deliciousness—brought to you by the dedicated folks at the National Dairy Council!
