Most people have enough to worry about in the morning without having to think about what to make for breakfast. They often end up either grabbing a piece of fruit, a protein bar or nothing at all on the way out the door. We here at The Hiland Home know the importance of getting a healthy, balanced meal in the morning and we think we’ve found just the dish to help you do it: Overnight Oatmeal.
Combine oats and water in a slow cooker. Set on low, cover and let cook overnight. The next morning, stir in the salt and half & half. Scoop into bowls. Sprinkle brown sugar on top before serving.
