It’s Back to School: Decorate Those Laptops with Adorable Pets

My kids spent the better part of summer playing an online game where the object is to adopt pets and level them up to complete more tasks to adopt upgraded pets. I know…it confuses me too! However, with the school year about to start, the days of upgrading pets are quickly coming to end but I thought they shouldn’t have to say goodbye to their cuddly friends. Instead, I had them draw them on milk jugs, cut them out, and stick them on their laptops. This way they can have their pets and study too!

Supplies:

• Hiland Dairy Milk Jug
• Paint pens and markers
• Scissors
• Crafting knife
• Craft cutting mat
• Clear adhesive tabs

Instructions:

• Wash the milk jug with warm, soapy water and towel dry.

• Cut down the seams of the milk jug leaving large flat sections.

• Towel dry each section.
• Have your child look for adoptable gaming pets online and have him or her draw them on the milk jug sections.

• Using the paint pens, color all the pets.

Diva’s Tip: If you have more than one child, encourage them to trade their pets, or have them create pet toys using the same directions as above.
