Hiland Donates $25,000 For Breast Cancer Awareness

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For the fifth consecutive year, we are proud to announce that we have met our $25,000 donation goal for the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) through Hiland for Pink!

Why Breast Cancer Awareness?

We all have friends or family members who have been affected by breast cancer and we have enjoyed supporting BCFO by raising awareness and funds to help alleviate the immense physical, emotional and financial strain on not only the victims, but also their friends and family. We hope our support helps to reduce those burdens on those affected, while providing assistance, awareness and education for early detection and prevention. Along with community education, mentoring programs and support groups, the BCFO assists with free mammograms, and it is the only local organization providing non-medical financial support for those facing hardships as a result of breast cancer.

We couldn’t have done it without your help!

With your help, we were able to raise funds for this great cause. From July 1 – September 30, 2015, we donated $1 for every new Facebook fan we received, 5¢ for every Iced Coffee, Lactose Free Milk and YoPhoria sold and 20¢ for every 4 Quart Pail of Ice Cream sold.
