Add a warm glow to any room this holiday season with these delightfully cute DIY Snowmen Luminaries made from repurposed Hiland Dairy coffee creamer containers. Making them is easy. Just add your own creative touches, stuff them with fairy lights, and you have a charming decoration that shines. Happy Holidays!
Clean the coffee creamer container with warm, soapy water. Towel dry completely.
Carefully remove the label and lid.
In a well-ventilated area, spray paint the lid with several coats of white paint.
Adhere three gems or sequins to one side of the container in a straight line using the crafting glue.
Cut two pieces of pipe cleaner approximately three inches in length and then two one-inch pieces. Twist the smaller piece around the longer one approximately ½ inch from one end to create “stick” arms. Hot glue them to either side of the container.
Glue the eyes on one side of the lid. On the same side, paint a carrot nose and small dots to form the mouth. You may use a permanent marker if you don’t have black paint. Glue the hat on top of the lid. Let dry completely.
Carefully push the fairy lights into the opening of the container making sure the lights are distributed evenly inside. Drape and tape the last several inches of lights onto the back of the container so the battery pack reaches the table.
Pop on the head and turn on the lights.
No fairy lights? No problem! Simply drop some glow sticks inside instead and replace as needed.
