Family traditions are important. They strengthen family bonds, offer comfort and security, and even teach values. No matter how or when they start, traditions should be part of your family culture.
One of my favorite traditions is our family dinners. We all gather at the kitchen table over quality conversation and a nutritious meal that includes glasses of fresh Hiland Dairy Milk, and a side of bread with Hiland Dairy Butter. This tradition dates back to when I was a little girl growing up in Iowa.

You don’t have to wait for major holidays like Thanksgiving and Memorial Day to start a tradition. You can start one anytime or even make up your own “holidays.”
