It doesn’t take long for my kids to become “bored stiff” just a few hours into their winter vacation from school. I’m expecting them to ask me for creative solutions to their boredom woes, so I’ve loaded up on ideas to keep them content. Here a just a few:
Nowadays, libraries schedule fun activities for kids, including crafts, magic shows or mini plays based on some of their favorite characters.
Give a helping hand to our feathered friends by crafting a simple bird feeder. You might seed some interesting birds that are migrating this time of the year.
When all else fails, take your kiddos to an indoor trampoline park. It will keep kids active and helpĀ burn off some pent up energy. Afterward, I like to treat my kids to a pint of Hiland Dairy Chocolate Milk to get them the essential nutrients and protein boost they need. It’s a win-win situation!
You can get more of my ideas to keep kids entertainedĀ during the cold winter months here. And don’t forget to keep your peepers on your local weather forecasts. You don’t want to be stuck outdoors when Old Man Winter strikes.
