There are many ways to eat cottage cheese but one of my favorites is the way my mom used to serve it. She topped a perfectly portioned scoop of delicious cottage cheese with a spoonful of canned fruit. It’s a side I serve with breakfast, lunch, or dinner because I know it’s packed with protein and other important vitamins and minerals.
However, according to my kids, the best part is how the syrup from the fruit sinks between the savory curds of cottage cheese to add a perfect punch of sweetness.
With only two steps and two ingredients, this snack is easy and delicious!
Diva’s Tip: I’ve also sprinkled granola on top and even added a scoop of whipped cream. Yummy!
