In a small bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove clumps. Add the hot water and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
While the mixture is still warm, stir in the honey (or maple syrup) until dissolved. Then, mix in the regular milk. Set aside.
Optional: Froth the strawberry milk using an electric or handheld milk frother.
Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the matcha mixture, then slowly pour in the strawberry milk for a layered effect.
Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and enjoy!
