Healthy Lasagna

All of the goodness of classic lasagna, but lightened up and packed with protein for a skinny version of the traditional recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 1 24-oz. jar marinara
  • 1 24-oz. container Hiland Dairy Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup Hiland Dairy Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 9 oz. whole wheat, oven-ready (no boil) lasagna noodles

Directions

  • Layer 1: Meat sauce (less meat, more sauce)
  • Layer 2: Noodles
  • Layer 3: Cottage cheese (use half)
  • Layer 4: Meat sauce (more meat, less sauce)
  • Layer 5: Noodles
  • Layer 6: Cottage cheese (use it all)
  • Layer 7: Meat sauce (use it all)
  • Layer 8: Mozzarella
