Blueberry Almond Oats with Egg and Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Hiland Dairy Fat Free Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • 8 oz. Hiland Dairy Fat Free Milk
  • 2 shots espresso (can substitute 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup milk and vanilla extract.
  • Mix in oats and refrigerate overnight.
  • In morning, top oats with fresh blueberries and sliced almonds.
  • Peel hard-boiled egg and slice, if desired, and serve on the side.
  • Steam 8-ounces of milk. Pour into a cup and add brewed espresso (or coffee).
  • Spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over the latte.
